Witcher 3 Legendary Wolf Armor
- This article is a collection of all my video and written guides to the Legendary Witcher Armor Sets available in New Game Plus (NG+) of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. The guides show you how to start the quest, find the locations of the diagrams, craft the armor pieces, stats balance, set bonuses and appearance/design.
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's new Blood and Wine expansion sports a new tier of armor sets called Grandmaster. These top-tier pieces of equipment offer unique bonuses from equipping a specific number.
Superior Wolven School Gear - focuses on a mixed type of play. Each element of the gear gives bonuses to Adrenaline, strength or sign intensity. In order to obtain schematics for this set, it is best to equip oneself with two maps: Damp, Modly Notes by Hieronymus on the Witcher Elgar and Heavily Faded Notes by Hieronymus on the Witcher Elgar You can buy them from an armorer in Kaer Trolde and an armorer in Novigrad square.Important Note!

Hi,I have a question for the upcoming New Game+ mode.Since you start at Level 30 and you probable have the best Witcher Gear in the game right at the start. Will there be new higher grades of the Witcher gear in New game+ mode?I don't want to habe the same expirience like in Diablo 2, where the Uniques were only viable in 'Normal' and maybe at the start of 'Nightmare'. Later you had to rely on random drops.Really looking forward to New Game+, this is just one concern I habe about it.Thanks.

The continuing insane increase in equipment stats continues unabated. You get to rebuild all the armours and weapons, as well as keep the older style (level 1-34) stuff if you choose.I really don't see this as an advantage for the game and game balance at all. What is IMO needed is a boost to the worse equipment and a severe restraining of the growth over time (perhaps next to no growth of 'similar' equipment, and only small increases from 'poor' to 'excellent' grade equipments).Skill growth (especially that 'boosted' by mutagens) could also do with some more restraint. Can anyone who has started playing NG+ confirm how the transfer of armor works?
In my previous game, I ran out of dimeritium components (I know I can find more, but I haven't set out to do it yet) and so I crafted certain pieces of an armor set at Master level, but some components remained at Superior level (for example, I have all Mastercrafted Wolf School gear except for the chest armor component). If I start NG+, I know my Mastercrafted armor will carry over, but what if I only had a diagram for a certain Master level component but didn't actually craft it before I finished the game on the first playthrough? In the example above, will I have to reacquire the Mastercrafted Wolf School chest armor diagram, or will I keep it at the start of NG+? I know that usable items, letters, books, quest items and notes don't carry over, so it sounds like if I didn't craft something at Master level before starting NG+, I'll have to track down the crafting diagram again in NG+. I'm hoping an exception is made for armor. Otherwise, I suppose I can just try tracking down the components and crafting it on my current post-epilogue save before starting NG+, but I'd rather just jump right into a new game if I can pick up that portion where I left off.
