When doing so, rodents will appear in a Sim’s relationship panel just like other Sims and Pets.Rodents are able to feed themselves, stay active, and be happy with everything available in their cages. When a rodent cage is purchased the rodent will be well fed and content. As time goes on, food bowls will need to be replenished, and cages will need to be cleaned.❗ Allowing a rodent’s habitat to remain filthy for an extended period of time will cause the rodent to become ill. Sims who are bitten by rodents can contract the new “Rabid Rodent Fever” disease. This can potentially become deadly if left untreated.See the for more info.The enclosure should be cleaned out every 3 days to maintain a healthy environment for the pet. They will also need to be fed at least once per day, and be given attention to keep their happiness levels up.
