Sup dudes,i've been playing a lot of doom recently and have been kind of bored with how the weapons look, especially the plasma rifle. It looks so god damned lame.
Also the chaingun looks pretty bad also.So i was wondering if there were any weapons mods out there that would replace the original sprites of the weapons with newer cooler looking ones. I am not really interested in mods that provide new weapons, i'd rather just stick with the old ones, but i just want them to look cooler. I have tried searching all morning and the only thing i came across was perkristians smooth animation mod.the source ports i use are zandronum and zdaemon(mostly for coop)any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!.

For more custom stuff:(COD clone)If you want a really, really well done wad, try to find. Its fucking hard, well coded, good music, and pretty damn awesome.Also remember the doom server browser that comes with Zandronum, most of the servers run some pretty custom wads that can be downloaded once you set up the server browser correctly. Also don't be afraid to try making wad's yourself as its relatively easy, the community is really friendly and can help you with questions.
